October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.🎀💕
🎀Today in Pennsylvania, 38 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
🎀Talk to the important women in your life and schedule your mammogram.
🎀Let’s continue to spread awareness for this life-changing disease.
Early Detection Saves Lives. It saved my life. 💖
More from @westmoreland_walks_inc ’s 25th Annual Pink Ribbon Walk. 💕💗🎀💝
During Kathy and Trish’s speech, they told a story of attending an advocacy walk in Pittsburgh in support and memory of their friends and felt inspired to start one in Greensburg.
Proud to have such dedicated advocates and supporters of breast cancer in my district!
This month, talk to your doctor about your risk level of breast cancer and share this video with the important women in your life. Early Detection Saves Lives… It saved my life!🎀💕
I joined @pabreastcancer this morning as they turned the Harrisburg Capitol’s East Wing fountain 🎀PINK🎀 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We celebrated survivors, honored the loved ones we lost and continued to spread our message: EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES!
I was happy to have Kristin, a breast cancer survivor from my district and her mother attend the event. In celebration of her 5 years cancer free, she turned her advocacy into action and held the first annual Pink Ribbon Gala last March.
On top of that, I was proud to recognize Senator Frank Farry, who was named the PA Breast Cancer Coalition’s 2026 Pink Ribbon Awardee for his advocacy and role in sponsoring Senate Bill 88.
It was great to be with survivors and legislators to continue to raise awareness for breast cancer. 💕🎀
A sweet start to the fall season.🍎🍂
Had a great time at the Delmont Apple N’ Arts Festival trying delicious food, browsing the beautiful work from talented local artists and vendors, and spending time with such a wonderful community.🧡🍎🍁
Starting Breast Cancer Awareness Month off right! 💕💗🎀
Today my grand angels and I attended @westmoreland_walks_inc 25th Annual Pink Ribbon Walk, founded by Kathy Brown and Trish Smock. It was a great morning surrounded by breast cancer survivors, their friends and families.
Early detection saves lives! It saved my life!💕🎀
💕🎀It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.🎀💕
This October, pass the message along to the important women in your life: Early Detection Saves Lives! It saved my life. 💕
👑It was great to meet some royalty yesterday!👑
2026 Westmoreland Fair Queen and Derry Township Agriculture Fair Queen stopped by my office. It’s always inspiring to see young women from Westmoreland County represent their communities and be an inspiration for young girls to look up to!👸
Earlier this month, I was proud to attend Seton Hill University’s Child Development Center’s 75th Anniversary Celebration. The University’s child development center was founded by Sister Maurice McManama and Sister Rose Angella Cunningham in 1951 & since then the school has provided a joyful environment for children to develop life and social skills. It was great to see some of the kiddos from the school in the audience!
Here’s to another 75 years of learning & laughter!🍎✏️
The comment period on IRRC’s website for Governor Shapiro’s NEW PA Department of Health regulations close TONIGHT at 11:59 P.M.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make your voice heard. Should these health regulations be put in place, they will be permanent.
My @pasenategop colleagues & I were busy to ensure the ’26-‘27 state budget:
✅Protected PA’s rainy day fund
✅Avoided harmful tax increases
✅Increased funding for rape crisis centers, which had been underfunded for 6 of the last 10 budget cycles
