January 28, 2015 - The Greensburg Central Catholic High School Volleyball, Soccer, and a member of the school’s golf team visited the State Capitol. The Greensburg Central Catholic High School Volleyball team won the 2014 PIAA State Class A Girls’ Volleyball championship as well as won the school’s first State Championship in girls’ volleyball. They also captured first place in the 2014 WPIAL Class A Girls’ Volleyball championship under the leadership of head coach Heather Meyer. The Greensburg Central Catholic High School Girls’ Soccer team won the 2014 WPIAL Class A Soccer Championship and had a season record of 24 wins and advanced to the final game of the 2014 PIAA State Class A soccer championship under the leadership of head coach Bryan Cartwright. Also Olivia Zambruno, a sophomore member of the Greensburg Central Catholic High School Girl’s Golf Team captured the 2014 PIAA State Class AA Girl’s Individual Golf Championship under the leadership of Coach George Janik.
